Continuing with the glitter theme I created these gorgeous gold leaf nails. I was inspired by some nails I saw a couple of weeks ago on @bangbangnails Insta and I knew I had to try do something similar. So here is how I achieved this gold leaf nail look.
All you need is a light pink or nude nail polish as a base. I used YSL Rose Abstrait and only one coat of it. I love the my natural nails but better look. For the gold leafs I had a Maybelline nail polish (Bling Bling Top Coat) in my drawer which did the job.
When your base coat is dried, pour some of the gold top coat on a plate. With a dotting tool or tooth pick take individuals gold leafs and place them randomly on your nails. When you’re happy with the look, add your favourite top coat and you’re done!
Just look at those gold leaf nails I can’t stop staring at them. It’s a simple and easy nail art, done in no time and gives the illusion like you have been doing your nails for hours. And the gold leafs reflect the light beautifully.
Is this a design you would try out too? I’d love to hear if you do so. If you wanna see how my nails will do over the week follow my Instagram. As always have a good day lovelies, xx.
These look stunning! Will definitely have to give this a go!
