Well this has been a good weekend. I’ve spent it on the boat with my lovely boyfriend and of course I could not leave my camera behind. So here are some pictures and a run down of what I actually did the whole weekend long.
Just look at it! The weekend blessed us with some lovely weather. So we packed some snacks, suncream, our swimming ware and lots of water! But before we could get on with our day, we had to clean the boat… (It hasn’t been used during the colder months). After a good hour we had a dust and dirt free boat again and we were off. First we took my granddad out for a spin as it’s actually his boat we are using. Then we brought him back to the shore and left again for a afternoon on the water.
The Boat Trip
We spent the afternoon on the lake of Zurich sunbathing and swimming! It was quite warm but with a slight breeze happening, it actually wasn’t too warm when we’re out in the sun. And the red parasol was of course our savior when we needed some shade. There is a spot near a little island (Ufenau) where you can actually stand in the water and it is so clear. You can see all the stones and muscles and sand. It’s just lovely. Before me made our way to this very spot we made a quick stop at Rapperswil for some food and an ice cream. Gotta have an ice cream with this warm weather. Then we made our way down the lake to the island and went for another swim.
After like 5 hours on the boat it was time to join my boyfriends dad at the shore for a yummy BBQ. We had some lovely fish, meat and veggies with a salad and some bread on the side. As it was still quite light we took the boat to a small airport right opposite from the lake where we had our dinner. There we enjoyed our ice creams and the amazing sunset. Driving back I could have taken thousand of pictures as the scenery was just beautiful but I don’t wanna spam you with lots of the nearly same pictures, so I just added two.

This was basically how I spent my Saturday. On Sunday we went out on the lake again but only for some more swimming and just enjoying the hot weather. I couldn’t sunbathe anymore as I got myself brunt on Saturday. Well I knew I had to be careful but I just wanted to get a tan and now I’m not brown but red. But anyways Sunday was still as enjoyable as Saturday and I had lots of fun.
How did you spend your weekend? How was the weather? What did you do? Tell me in the comments down below.
