Do you see all those oversized shirts floating around Instagram, magazines and blogs? Today I’m showing you how to style your oversized shirts.
A white shirt should be a staple in any closet and I added another one to my collection last year, which quickly became a favourite. The talk is about this ASOS oversized white shirt. It’s the perfect shape, giving you the oversized look without it looking too big on you. Also, it’s easy to create a layered look with it.
The vest look
Pairing your white shirt with a vest is a must this season. The trend has been around since last autumn but now it’s taking off. I got mine from Nu-In, a sustainable brand, in a size m to give some room while layering it over my white shirt. Or take a cute top with thin straps, even a corset, and wear it over your oversized shirts.
Tucked in, belted or tied-up
There are many ways you can wear the shirt on its own. Either, casually over your jeans or tucked in. Depending on my trousers I adjust the look. When wearing it over the trousers, I often add a belt to accentuate the waistline and give it a more feminine look.
When tucked in, I either tuck it in all the way or leave the behind part out. Another way to style your shirt is by tucking in just one side. Just go for it, try out the styles and stick with the ones you love.
You could even tie your oversized shirt up. Close your shirt only half way down, leave the last 3 to 4 buttons unbuttoned. Grab both ends and make a loose knot.

Just have fun with playing around and trying different ways to wear your shirt. Fashion is all about having fun and making you feel great.
