Welcome to my Mexico diaries, if you haven’t seen the first part – click here. I showed you my hotel and the area we stayed in and now I’m showing you my Mexico outfits. It’s been hot, really hot. The jeans stayed in my suitcase and the dresses and bikinis came out.
How cute is my pom pom dress?! I saw it on ASOS and just had to get it for my holiday. Plus my beach bag got an upgrade too. I’ve been obsessed with straw bags ever since I saw them on Sineads blog lovestylemindfulness. So it was just a must to get that straw beach bag which conveniently went really well with my new sunhat. At the beach I always was in my bikinis and for lunch I threw over my pom pom dress or some hot pants and a top. As it was boiling my preferred Mexico outfit was the swimwear, especially my Gingham Bardot Bikini from Missguided!

In the evening I changed into my long dresses. It would have been hot enough for some short ones, but one does not want too many mosquito bites! I’m still in love with my stripy dress which I got in London. Paired with my new tassel ear rings and some light makeup I was ready for some delicious food. My floral bodycon dress is from ASOS. I got it last summer, so I couldn’t find it anymore for you guys but I linked a similar one. My go-to bag is my trusty black over the shoulder bag from Mulberry. It fits all the essentials and goes with everything!
You might have noticed I wore a lot of black and white and stripes. Well with a tan I just had to get the most out of my white wardrobe bits. When I saw the stripy off the shoulder top whilst a little shopping spree in Playa del Carmen I just had to get it to jazz up my Mexico outfits. With some hot pants or a jeans skirt it looked really nice. Sadly now it has been stored away to make space for some cosy jumpers.
These have been my fave Mexico outfits! I obviously did wear some other bits and pieces but these definitely were the ones I wore the most.
What’s your favourite?

Very classy! Whenever I’ve gone to Mexico I’ve always just worn drabby clothes, maybe a sombrero. I should dress better next time!
Thanks Logan. Well I went with the thought that I wanted some nice outfit pics so I had to have some great cloth with me. xx
I love your clothes….they are just beautiful
Thanks Jackie. xx
Wonderful dresses. The white dress with Pom poms is my favourite in the whole article. I believe that wearing that dress was a bit courageous too. ?
Thanks Sayanti, I think the pom pom dress is my fave one too. xx
I love the long black and white striped dress! Are there any other sites you recommend for vacation attire other than ASOS?
Thanks Sasha. Well, if you don’t want to use ASOS you can look at the individual brands such as Bershka where the black dress is from. I just love a site where I can choose between many brands at once. I never ordered from Bohoo but it sounds great too or Zalando. xx
Wow I love the long stripy dress! That would be great for when I go Morocco 🙂 x
When I saw that dress I just had to get it! If they had it in other colours I bet I would have got some more. xx
The white and black striped dress is nice. Mexico seems very fun. I don’t shop from Asos but guess I’ll have to start since everything is cute.
Thanks Monet. Since shopping at ASOS I found so many amazing things and you don’t have to pay customs, so that’s a great plus too. xx
Very nice – I love the blue maxi. I have trouble finding maxi dresses that are long enough (I’m over 6ft) but that dress is gorge.
Thanks Annie. If you believe it or not this dress was even from the petite range. I have short legs so dresses often are too long for me. Did you look at ASOS tall range or Topshop and other brands often do Tall sections too! xx
Love the dresses! And the top! And the earrings! And the cute bag! Gorgeous outfits all of them.
Thanks so much Helene. xx
Such beautiful photographs and outfits! Plus I am super jealous of the fact that you visited Mexico – it has been on my travel list for such a long time and I am just about to book a ticket haha.
Hope you’re having a great week girl!

Thank you Maria. Oh I hope you booked that ticket! Couldn’t recommend Mexico enough. xx
Stripes suit you so much?! As does that bikini.. ? I agree, I always opt for something longer so that I don’t get bit, but somehow, it still happens.. ???♀️ I hope you had a fabulous time! ?

Thanks Andi! Oh don’t get me wrong I still got bitten but maybe not as much as with short cloth .. xx
